Beautifully decorated and peaceful hotel located very close to a local farm, many attractions and Fjaðrárgljúfur, which is magnificent. Triple room with even tinier bathroom. Perfect location in lovely surroundings with views out over the hills.

The location was stunning and favourable, right by the mountain side and a beautiful canyon which is worth a visit, in a central area.

Overall an enjoyable stay for one night. Clean place accompanied by affable staff. Tasty continental breakfast options. Outstanding triple room with views of garden. The location perfect and stunning in the mountains. And just off Skaftafell national park and the stunning Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon.

The restaurant was good which provides quality breakfast and dinner, we ordered delicious dishes. The staff was extremely helpful and helpful in any situation. Remote location of this low-budget hotel was a bonus.

My favourite property in Kirkjubaejarklaustur. Really enjoyable stay, beautifully designed place. Exceptionally nice and unbeatable location and satisfactory breakfast with fresh baked breads and cookies, as for instance. Location so close to the southeast coastline, magnificent canyon, and Skaftafell national park. Also, in a field next to the sheep farm.

We had an incredible value for our money at Hunkubakkar Guesthouse. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a spacious porch with a beautiful view. The location was perfect, with easy access to the amazing Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon. The staff were friendly and gave us great recommendations for nearby attractions.

The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The hotel was fairly clean with very amiable and superbly friendly staff, we felt very welcome here.

Had a great romantic escape in the south of Iceland. The cottages were beautifully designed with wooden interiors and comfortable beds. Temperature control was fantastic, allowing for a cozy stay. The location was surrounded by stunning landscapes, with vast green lands, mountains, and a soothing sound of a nearby stream. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

The facilities were a bit lacking. The water boiler was too small and the heated water lasted only 15 minutes, which made it difficult for my partner to have a proper shower.

The guest room was spotlessly clean and cosy with private bathroom, so that guests had essentials. The location was remote, stunning by nature...

We had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse nestled in the rolling hills near a beautiful canyon. The hotel facilities were clean and modern, with separate entries for each room. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even packing us a delicious breakfast bag for our early departure. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon we wanted to visit, just a short 5-minute drive away.
